A snow day!

We woke up to about 2 1/2 inches of snow this morning!  I looooooooove snow!  The only thing I dislike about snow is that it melts way too fast.  It's supposed to be pretty cold this week so maybe we'll get to enjoy it for a few days.  The girls had so much fun playing in it; Hanna more so than Haley.  Haley seemed afraid to move around and kept saying, "Hold me."  It was a little challenging for her to move her legs with her boots and snow bib.

This was their first time making snowmen.  The snow wasn't the good packing kind so Jason found a long tubular trash can in the basement; hence the cylindrical shaped snow people.  We named them Charlie and Lola and little Charlie Jr.  We finally got to put our snowman kit to good use!  Thanks Chris!

We are warm and snuggly in our jammies now!  I guess it's time for a hot toddy!

Just getting caught up...looks like you had a great Christmas. The girls look like they are having so much fun w/g-parents, aunt and the snow! Loved the book - so sweet, I didn't even know you could do that. Really a nice present and love the note. Happy New Year!
