Bart and Raven came over for dinner on Tuesday night and brought Hanna a gingerbread house kit, except it was for Halloween. I've seen these in the store but never actually thought about buying one. Boy did Hanna love it; chocolate, candies, cookies, icing; need I say more. For some reason she liked the black icing and according to Raven, had no real flavor to it. You could really get creative and construct a killer haunted house but I hasten to say that ours probably won't be pictured in the Halloween section of the next Martha Stewart Living. Maybe we'll get better with each passing year but more importantly, it was fun to try! One thing is for certain, it did looked haunted.
